A difficult year ends with good news

I could not have chosen a better time to be writing my first comment in 12 months. After a gap of just about a year and a half, Carnival Corp has re-opened the cruise shipping orderbook with a contract for a sister to Carnival Dream. But that’s not all. It looks as though South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries has finally joined the fray with a letter of intent for its first ever cruiseship order. What must fellow Korean company, STX, be thinking, having just delivered the groundbre....
