Dong Energy signs framework agreement for Siemens turbines

Dong Energy and Siemens Energy have signed a framework agreement on the supply and servicing of a total of 300 6MW offshore wind turbines, a total capacity of 1,800MW. The turbines will be installed at selected Dong Energy offshore windfarms in the UK in the period 2014-2017. The agreement concerns Siemens Energy’s newly developed 6MW offshore wind turbine, with a 154m rotor based on gearless direct drive technology. SKF signs deal for Nautilus bearing SKF has signed a three-year supply....
