E-navigation testbeds show the concept would be viable

Testbeds for e-navigation, or certain aspects of e-navigation, suggest it is a viable means of improving safety and enhancing berth-to-berth navigation. It is already how they do things on the St Lawrence River in Canada. The results of various e-navigation testbeds were presented in January at the E-navigation Underway conference*, held on a Copenhagen–Oslo–Copenhagen ferry.
