Flagging Asian yards target more offshore orders

More and more hard-pressed shipyards see their salvation in the offshore support vessel market, something that could cause problems in the future. More than 100 offshore vessels of different types have been added to the orderbook in a period of just two months, emphasising how much the offshore sector continues to drive newbuilding business. High quality construction is essential to ensure that vessels can meet the demands of future energy exploration, and Norwegian yards have once again shown ....
