Diamond S Shipping was jointly founded by Craig Stevenson, former CEO of OMI Corp, and First Reserve bank in 2007. Mr Stevenson famously oversaw the transformation of OMI Corp from a company with a market capitalisation of just under US$100 million when he took the helm in 1999 to a company that sold for US$2.2 billion in 2007.
