Joint venture orders six LPG carriers

Luxembourg-based shipping investment company Jaccar Holdings and German shipowner Hartmann Schiffahrts have reportedly ordered six 5,000m3 pressurised LPG carriers from Sinopacific, according to the weekly market report by StealthGas. Construction will be undertaken at Sinopacific’s Dajiang yard in China. The vessels are due to be delivered between 2011 and 2013 and will be commercially operated by Gaschem Services.
