MSC Cruises has signed a contract with STX France to take over the 139,400gt newbuilding originally under construction for GNMTC of Libya. The project represents a €550 million investment. Fourth in the Fantasia class, the vessel will be named MSC Preziosa and is scheduled for delivery in March 2013.
