MSC focuses on post-Panamax build

MSC Cruises is reported to be “quite busy” working on various aspects of a post-Panamax newbuilding project, according to Pierfrancesco Vago, chief executive officer, although he says the company “has no statements to make” as to a specific order. The company did have two proposed Panamax ships – the 93,000gt MSC Meraviglia and sister MSC Favolosa for delivery in 2011 and 2012 – on order at STX Europe’s yard in Saint Nazaire but these are no longer proc....
