OSV industry on red alert following Elgin gas leak

As also highlighted elsewhere in this issue, many anchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels were hired by operator Total to provide standby and potential fire-fighting assistance at the Elgin platform, including the Loke Viking, Siem Aquamarine, Skandi Saigon and Sea Bear – all of which have fire-fighting capabilities.
