RCCL CEO advocates industry co-operation to fight climate change

Richard D Fain, CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines cruises told the Opening Conference at Nor-Shipping that all shipping industry stakeholders will have to work together to combat climate change. In a keynote address at the conference in Lillestrøm on 9 June, Mr Fain commented: “As shipowners and operators, we must take the initiative to lead this effort, or we will be crushed under the stampede to do something, anything, to address it. We tried to stop the 1990 Oil Pollution Act ....
