Tallink bucks the trend

While many ferry operators are seeing a downturn in business, Tallink transported 1.83 million passengers in the third quarter of its current financial year (March-May) – 12.4 per cent more than the previous 12 months. Passenger numbers were up on all the company’s major routes but a very strong upturn of 44 per cent was seen on the Latvia-Sweden route, while Finland-Estonia and Finland-Sweden increased by 14 and 11 per cent respectively.
