Voting opens for the OSJ Awards

The shortlist for the inaugural OSJ Awards have now been announced, following the organiser’s vetting of all submitted entries and review by the industry experts of the Annual OSJ Conference advisory panel. The awards aim to recognise outstanding achievements in the fields of offshore support vessel technology, efficiency and innovation. The contenders for the awards are:
OSJ Support Vessel of the Year:

Highland Prince
Normand Subsea
Seven Atlantic
OSJ Shipowner of the Year:
Eidesvik Offshore ASA
Farstad Shipping ASA
Island Offshore Group
Olympic Shipping AS
OSJ Innovation of the Year:
Ampelmann Operations BV for the Ampelmann Offshore Access System
Farstad Shipping ASA and Rolls-Royce for the cable lifter change system
FellowSHIP project for fuel cell technology on Viking Lady
Offshore Solutions BV for OAS – Offshore Access System
OSJ readers can now vote for the winners of these awards via the Annual OSJ Conference website here. Further details regarding the criteria for each award category and profiles of those shortlisted are also available on the site. Voting closes on 1 February.
A fourth award category, the OSJ Lifetime Achievement Award, will be selected by the Annual OSJ Conference advisory panel. This will be presented to an individual who is considered to have made a contribution of outstanding significance to the offshore support vessel market during their lifetime.
The OSJ Awards recipients will be announced during the gala dinner at the Annual OSJ Conference on 17 February. The popular conference is being held over two days, from 17 to 18 February in London.
