Windfarm projects increase demand for divers

In the past, commercial diving outfits were predominantly employed in the offshore oil and gas industry, but they are now securing more and more of their work in the growing offshore renewables market. Companies such as Osiris Marine Projects, Hughes, Red7Marine and Smit Subsea say a larger and larger share of their work now comes from offshore wind, and they have invested in new equipment and facilities to help them service the fast-growing industry.
