Altaeros Energies reaching for the skies

Altaeros Energies’ innovative airborne wind turbine (AWT) uses a helium-filled, inflatable shell to ascend to high altitudes, where winds are more consistent and up to five times stronger than those reached by traditional tower-mounted turbines.
