The development of a completely new MAN turbocharger generation to replace the NA series resulted in the 2003 launch of the TCA (Turbocharger Axial) series with radial-flow compressor wheel and axial-flow turbine blading. The TCA series was headed into production by the TCA77 model, with additional frame sizes following progressively to cover requirements up to those of the highest powered two-stroke and four-stroke engines. A completely new radial-turbine turbocharger subsequently strengthened....
