Chinese LPG terminals go multipurpose

The Chinese LPG market is in a state of flux, and import volumes have dropped markedly from the peak level of 6.4 million tonnes achieved in 2004. In recent years Chinese LPG imports have fallen within the 2-4 million tonnes per annum (mta) range. In 2004 LPG held a 63 per cent share of the Chinese urban gas market but today it accounts for less than 45 per cent.
