Crew boats to have triple DP redundancy

Kongsberg Maritime has won a contract to supply DP systems to Seacor Marine’s next generation of crew supply vessels. The order involves delivery of DP3 systems to two new 58m-long CrewZer class vessels – Seacor Lynx and Seacor Leopard. These vessels are under construction at Gulfcraft Shipyard, Louisiana, with the first due to be delivered in the first half of 2013. These ABS-classed vessels will each have a Kongsberg K-Pos DP3 system integrated with proprietary position reference ....
