Deepwater projects attract more modern support vessels

The allure of long-term charters and subsea contract work is attracting more offshore vessels to West Africa. US and European shipowners are mobilising vessels to the Gulf of Guinea to capitalise on growing demand for support services. Anchor handlers, platform supply vessels (PSVs) and subsea construction support vessels are in demand in Ghana, Nigeria and down to Angola as oil companies continue developing offshore oilfields and extend their exploration campaigns.
