Eaton deploys first energy saving UPS

Eaton has supplied Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas, with more than 20 uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) to protect critical onboard equipment. The solution was similar to UPS’s supplied to Oasis of the Seas in 2009, but Allure of the Seas is the first marine deployment of Eaton’s energy saver technology.
