Fire-fighting systems continue to evolve

A modern fire detection system is a computerised, fully addressable analogue fire alarm system with analogue detectors. The complete fire alarm system, including fire alarm panel, operating panel, control unit and power supply, is contained in a central cabinet in the fire control centre. Four detector loops are connected to the system. A remote repeater panel is mounted in a console in the wheelhouse and the central control room.
