Massive crane gives pipelay/heavy-lift ship an advantage

In a paper at this year’s OTC conference in Houston, representatives from Huisman Equipment in The Netherlands, the company that supplied the crane for Subsea 7’s deepwater pipelay/heavy-lift vessel Seven Borealis, said the crane would be a “unique tool” for deepwater construction wherever large structures are being installed.
