New VSAT services and expansions are in the pipeline

KVH Industries has upgraded its mini-VSAT Broadband network with the addition of global C-band satellite coverage overlaying its Ku-band footprint. KVH claims this is the world’s first dual-band maritime satellite communications network that covers 95 per cent of the world’s surface, including all major shipping routes, offshore oilfield areas and commercial fishing grounds.
