Selex Elsag, an affiliate of Finmeccanica, is supplying VSAT to two owners of offshore supply vessels (OSVs) operating in the North Sea. Selex will supply VSAT solutions to Aberdeen-based North Star Shipping and Viking Supply Ships. North Star Shipping needs VSAT hardware and services for three new emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRVs) it has under construction in northern Spain.
