Offshore support vessel of the year North Sea Giant is crammed with the latest integrated bridge and dynamic positioning (DP) systems and telecommunications equipment to enhance offshore operations. North Sea Shipping’s 2011-built ship won Riviera Maritime Media’s Offshore Support Journal’s Ship of the Year 2012 award at a conference in February for its technical advances. The vessel was designed by Sawicon, then built and outfitted by Spanish shipyard group Metalships and Dock....
