Strabag to build gravity foundation facility

Strabag’s decision to invest in a new facility for manufacturing and assembling wind-turbine foundations will be seen as a welcome boost to the wind energy sector in the North Sea and follows an announcement in March 2012 that Gamesa plans to build a manufacturing facility at the Scottish port of Leith, which will produce the large-scale wind turbines set for use around the British coast.
