  January 2012 • Russian authorities granted permission to Knutsen OAS to carry out trial shipments of LNG on the Northern Sea Route (NSR) along the Russian Arctic coast this summer. If the voyages go ahead, Knutsen will utilise its ice class 1A winterised LNG carrier Ribera del Duero Knutsen to transport the cargoes eastbound to Asia on the NSR.
