Asia Pacific Maritime 2010 is held at Singapore Expo, the largest purpose-built exhibition and convention centre in Southeast Asia. It provides over 100,000 square metres of exhibition space, 19 conference halls and meeting rooms, with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, AV and presentation facilities.
Located just 5 minutes from Singapore Changi International Airport and 10 minutes from the Central Business District, Singapore Expo is easily accessible by the local train network (known as MRT in Singapore), taxis, public buses and cars.
By Local Train Network - Mass Rapid Transit (MRT)
Singapore Expo is served by its own station, Expo Station. This MRT station is located beside Hall 6 of Singapore Expo, providing easy access for all Asia Pacific Maritime 2010 visitors.
If you are going to Singapore Expo from Changi Airport, take the East Bound line of the MRT (indicated as a Green Line) and alight at Expo Station. It is just one stop away and the journey takes only 4 minutes. The average train frequency departing from Changi Airport station is 12 minutes.
If you are going to Singapore Expo from other parts of Singapore, alight at Tanah Merah station (on the East West Line of the MRT - indicated as a Green Line) and transfer to the train heading to Expo Station. Click here to view the MRT route map.
By Taxi
Taxi stands are located at Foyer 1 (in front of Hall 1) and Foyer 2 (next to Hall 6). The taxi fare from the airport or the city is about S$15, subject to surcharges for electronic road pricing (ERP) from Mondays to Fridays between 7.30am to 7pm (except for public holidays). A S$2 surcharge will be imposed for taxis leaving from Singapore Expo. You can call for taxis through the telephone numbers of the taxi companies provided below. Alternatively, you may approach the taxi order terminals or help desks at Singapore Expo for assistance. Additional taxi booking surcharges are applicable.
