'If you have anything to do with Turbochargers, this conference is essential' Larry Rumbol, Turbo Service International
'A unique forum to gather shipowners, engine and turbo manufacturers and classification societies, well worth the time'
Gary Powers, Caterpillar
Reliability, safety and efficiency are the benchmarks by which industry will continue to assess turbocharger design. Operating and through-life costs are equally important, as is compliance with tightening regulation. In particular, today’s turbochargers need to be ‘future proofed’ against tomorrow’s stringent emissions and safety legislation.
The Worldwide Turbocharger Conference returned to Hamburg in 2011 and bought together shipowners, enginebuilders, turbocharger manufacturers, service centres and class to interact, discuss and debate these salient issues and obtain information of real commercial and competitive value to their companies.
The conference follows on from the success of Riviera Maritime Media's annual Worldwide Turbocharger Guide, the Marine Propulsion & Auxiliary Machinery journal, and the Annual Marine Propulsion Conference.
Delegates experienced an exceptional programme of presentations and debate, as well as unparalleled networking and social opportunities. Following feedback from attendees at the inaugural event in Hamburg in 2009, the programme for the second Worldwide Turbocharger Conference was extended to two days, offering more opportunities for networking and information gathering. In short, it is a must-attend event for anyone whose business is turbochargers.
