LNG World Shipping

The LNG shipping sector is blossoming as it matures: more players, with more ships, mean that more flexible transport contracts can be arranged rather than the traditional long-term commitment of a 'floating pipeline' formed by a fleet that had to be purpose-built for a particular project. The rapid growth in spot movements is evidence of increased flexibility, and of the attraction for new investors.

Although no other shipping sector shows such promise, the whole subject of transporting LNG by sea was not, until now covered by a dedicated publication.

LNG World Shipping is an invaluable purchasing reference for companies throughout the LNG marine transport chain as increasing competitiveness widens the choice of specialist services on offer.

LPG World Shipping

LPG World Shipping provides comprehensive coverage of the LPG ship sector, from the largest fully refrigerated very large gas carrier (VLGC) down to the smallest fully pressurised coaster. The coverage encompasses all technical, commercial and operational aspects of the LPG shipping industry and the full range of cargoes, from LPG and ammonia to ethylene and the other petrochemical gases.

LPG World Shipping also embraces the complete LPG supply chain, including shoreside storage terminals and inland waterway gas carriers.

LPG World Shipping follows in the footsteps of Riviera Maritime's successful first gas carrier publication, LNG World Shipping. Since its launch in March 2004, LNG World Shipping has been received enthusiastically by the industry and has quickly established itself as the leading LNG publication with a pure shipping focus.

pst fc dec08 Passenger Ship Technology

Riviera Maritime Media has merged two of its technical journals, The Cruise Ship and Ferry Technology, beginning with the August/September 2008 issues, to form Passenger Ship Technology. The decision to merge the journals was a response to readers' requests for a larger journal that is able to cover more topics in depth.

The Cruise Ship and Ferry Technology both focused on the ships themselves, and this approach continues with Passenger Ship Technology. As well as all sizes of cruise ships, tonnage covered includes small domestic ferries, High Speed Craft code-compliant ferries, so-called conventional Solas ferries, and freight ferries.

Maintaining the successful format already established in Ferry Technology and The Cruise Ship, coverage includes interviews with key industry owners, operators and suppliers, market analysis, technical product reviews, ship descriptions, safety reviews and accident reports.
