Marine Electronics & Communications is written for the people who design, build, outfit, operate and maintain the electrical, electronics and communications equipment for all types of merchant ships. As the journal covers topics of interest to ship owners’ and operators’ technical and operational departments it is therefore circulated to fleet directors, superintendents, information communication technology (ICT) managers, deck officers, ships’ engineers, electrotechnical officers, and naval architects. The readers are predominately ICT related staff who assess what equipment is required, and evaluate what is available.
