Presented to an individual, company or institution that has found a solution to an environmental challenge or problem within the tanker industry and/or set new benchmarks in environmental performance. The winning entry will demonstrate actual or potential environmental benefits as a result of implementation.
Presented to a company, an individual or an institution in recognition of an original product or a service that reflects an innovative approach to technology and has demonstrably raised the efficiency and economics of tanker operations. The winning entry will demonstrate actual or potential technical benefits as a result of implementation.
This recognises a product, system or service that has solved an operational challenge or problem within the tanker industry this calendar year. The winning entry will demonstrate actual or potential operational benefits as a result of implementation.
The debate around the desirability of full vessel autonomy continues, but the systems developed along the way will lead to improved safety and more efficient use of vessels. This award recognises these systems and pilot vessels.
This award recognises projects, concepts and technologies that advance condition monitoring capabilities and move shipping towards the goal of predictive maintenance, improving vessel reliability and reducing off-hire time.
