IMO to hold symposium on IMO 2020 and alternative fuels
IMO is hosting a symposium on IMO 2020 and alternative fuels on 17 and 18 October 2019 in the main hall at IMO headquarters, London, United Kingdom
This 1.5-day symposium aims to raise awareness and to take stock of the preparations for the new IMO 2020 rule, and to discuss the role of alternative fuels in the decarbonisation of international shipping.
The symposium will be live-streamed and remote participation is open to member governments, IGOs, NGOs and the general public. The provisional agenda is listed below:
