Webinar brings much needed clarity on IHM
A webinar on what ship operators need to have in place to ensure compliance with upcoming Inventory Hazardous Materials is now available to the industry.
Operational, technical, regulatory and commercial considerations were candidly assessed by a panel drawn from the world’s of testing, flag and vessel ownership. Discussions centred on what every vessel operator needs to know and do by 2020 and took in visual sampling and check plans; the ABCs of smooth and timely IHM implementation; the ongoing and hidden costs every operator needs to know as well as compliance, sanctions and the likely attitude of Port State Control.
Equally compelling were the questions from an international audience that consisted of some of the industry’s most senior professionals and the world’s leading vessel owner/operating companies.
The panellists:
Capt. Herbert Soanes, Senior Vice President, Global Maritime Client Relations, CTI
Andreas Lougridis, Marketing Manager, European Region, CTI
Elizabeth S. Bouchard, Senior Vice President, Regulatory Administration, International Registries (U.K.) Limited in affiliation with the Marshall Islands Maritime and Corporate Registries
