Argeo in Norway has resolved to file for bankruptcy after briefly pausing the process
The company, which specialises in survey and inspection for the offshore oil and gas and offshore wind and other industries, briefly paused the plan after potential interest in the company was expressed by several sources.
The bankruptcy plan includes Argeo ASA and its subsidiaries Argeo Survey, Argeo Robotics and Argeo Multiclient.
In a 25 July 2025 statement, the company said Asker and Bærum District Court had initiated bankruptcy proceedings.
The company said despite the interest in the business – and its decision to postpone its filing for bankruptcy following indications of interest received – there have not been any concrete offers that would secure sufficient funding.
The board of the company has therefore resolved to proceed with filing for bankruptcy for Argeo ASA and its subsidiaries.
