Bahri Logistics orders two OSVs from Grandweld Shipyard

The Saudi Arabian shipowner said the deal will further strengthen Bahri’s offshore capabilities and support Saudi Arabia’s growing energy logistics corridor.

A statement issued by Bahri did not identify the type of vessels ordered or provide a specification, but they are believed to be 25-m crewboats.

The company said the vessels “will be custom-built to meet the operational requirements of offshore activities at Ras Tanura Port.”

Delivery is expected in August 2026, following a 12-month build timeline. Both vessels will be built at Grandweld Shipyard’s advanced facility in Dubai Maritime City. 

In a statement, Bahri said the newbuilds, “Will play a vital role enhancing Bahri Logistics’ offshore operations, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery, and providing greater flexibility and responsiveness to key clients in the energy and industrial sectors.”
