Belov Group agrees four-year inspection and maintenance deals with Petrobras

The Brazilian company has signed eight contracts with Petrobras in total, all of which have a term of four years. Together, they have a value of R$2.7Bn (approximately US$515M).

The agreements include vessel chartering and operation, diving and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services.

The contracts cover the operation of four dive support vessels to support shallow water diving in water depths of up to 50 m, and ROV operations. The vessels in question are Belov Humaitá, Belov Amaralina, and Cidade Ouro.

The agreement also includes a new SDSV, Belov Arembepe, which is being built at the Belov Shipyard in Simões Filho and scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2027.

All of the vessels contracted under the contracts will be used for inspection and maintenance services on offshore platforms owned by or contracted by Petrobras.

The contracts will come into effect between H2 2026 and H2 2027.

Belov Group director André Weber Carneiro said the contracts “represent a significant advance in the operational stability of our fleet, in addition to consolidating the company’s expansion project, with the construction of Belov Arembepe.”
