French ballast water management system (BWMS) maker Bio-UV has appointed Rivertrace Engineering as a sales representative in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. The agreement came into effect this week but was signed on 13 April, Bio-UV’s communications consultant told BWTT today (24 May). The agreement does not cover installation or servicing, the consultant said.
In a statement it issued yesterday on behalf of Bio-UV, business director Xavier Deval said that, when choosing its representatives, it looks for “strong and reliable partners to complement our existing installation and service network.”
It also quoted Rivertrace managing director Mike Coomber as saying that the two organisations are “likeminded …with innovation at our heart.” He said that the agreement “offers us further opportunities to provide solutions and compliance” to ballast treatment regulations.
