Northland Power has confirmed its 252-MW Deutsche Bucht offshore windfarm was completed on 31 March 2020
All of the turbines in the German offshore windfarm have been generating power since the end of September 2019 and to date, have generated over €130M (US$142M) of pre-completion revenues. Deutsche Bucht is 100% owned by Northland.
Completion marks the end of the construction phase and the start of the operational phase of the project and signifies that the terms required to satisfy the project lenders for term conversion have been achieved.
