With strong growth demand in LNG, Elengy, a subsidiary of the Engie Group, is preparing to sell access capacities to the Fos Tonkin LNG terminal on France’s Mediterranean coast for 2021-2030.
During the sale, Elengy will offer customers services including conventional unloading of Medmax-type LNG tankers with maximum capacities of 75,000 m3 and reloading LNG bunkering vessels and LNG tanker trucks.
The sale will start in February 2019, according to Elengy.
Besides the Fos Tonkin LNG terminal, Elengy operates two other LNG terminals in France, Fos Cavaou on the Mediterranean coast, and Montoir-de-Bretagne on the Atlantic coast. Both Fos Cavaou and Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminals can accommodate vessels with capacities up to 266,000 m3.
