MarFlex has obtained an order to supply electric driven deep-well cargo pumps for seven new product tankers for Fluvia Holding BV.
Fluvia operates a fleet of 30 inland tankers and transports petroleum products and chemicals on all European waterways, a sector that MarFlex has a lot of experience with.
Several vessels of Fluvia’s fleet are equipped with MarFlex MDPD-80 electric driven deep-well cargo pumps.
These pumps have a capacity of 100 mᶟ/hr and are suitable for all chemical and product tankers with cargoes up to 100°C.
The newbuild tankers will be equipped with MDPD-80 deep-well pumps which can be hoisted without entering the tank, by using a guide ring at the pump head.
With the newbuild tankers, to be delivered in 2019, Fluvia is expanding its fleet and logistics capacity.
“We are proud that the long lasting relationship between Fluvia and MarFlex has resulted in a more intensive collaboration and a further growing of the Fluvia fleet, equipped with the reliable MarFlex pumps,” said MarFlex sales manager Richard Beek.
