Føn Energy Services to subsea services for Baltic Power windfarm

The multi-million Euro contract is a long-term agreement with extension options, covering the delivery of an integrated balance of plant operations and maintenance programme for all subsea assets, including foundations and cables, on the offshore windfarm.

The programme includes inspection and corrective maintenance for Baltic Power’s subsea assets, including project management and planning, vessel chartering and management, logistics, engineering and procurement.

Føn Energy Services will be supported by local Polish suppliers in delivering these services.

The contract also includes an environmental survey scope that will monitoring marine growth and animal habitats in the area. 

The Baltic Power project is a joint venture between ORLEN and Northland Power and is the most advanced offshore wind project in Poland and the first to have reached the construction phase. A total of 76, 15-MW wind turbines will be installed, sufficient to provide 3% of Poland’s national electricity demand.
