GO Offshore, Dong Fang Offshore to collaborate in offshore markets
GO Offshore has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dong Fang Offshore (DFO), establishing a framework for co-operation in the offshore wind and oil gas markets
Together, GO Offshore, based in Australia, and DFO, based in Taiwan, plan to target three areas in the offshore marine sector.
The first target, expansion in the Australian market, will see Dong Fang Offshore (DFO) provide vessels to GO Offshore for offshore projects in Australia, combining GO Offshore’s local expertise with DFO’s growing fleet.
The companies will also work together on technology exchange and share technical knowledge about offshore wind vessels, paving the way for future investment in newbuilds tailored to the Australian market.
Thirdly, said the companies, they will collaborate to target opportunities in global markets. Beyond Australia, GO Offshore and DFO will jointly pursue opportunities, including in Taiwan and across the Asia Pacific region.
