French LNG engineering firm GTT has appointed Eric Dehouck as the company’s deputy chief executive
Mr Dehouck will assist GTT’s chairman and chief executive Philippe Berterottière in his responsibilities overseeing the organisation. GTT said Mr Dehouck has experience in both the private and public sector.
In 2016, Mr Dehouck was named vice president and head of research and innovation of Suez Group, where he held operational and executive positions in the group’s water treatment businesses Degrémont, Anderson Water Systems and Aquasource. In 2018, he founded Pachyderme, an investment company that offers seed investments to innovative companies, and in September 2019, he joined the French General Secretariat for Investment, assisting Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron as director of the Industry and Services programme.
Mr Dehouck is also an auditor with IHEDN, the French Institute for Higher National Defence.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr Berterottière said “We are glad to welcome Eric into our executive team. Eric is an entrepreneur, an investor and an executive of international companies. His recognised expertise and extensive experience will enrich and strengthen our capabilities and ambitions to face the challenges of the LNG shipping market and LNG as a marine fuel. He will also have a leading role in the evolution of GTT’s research and innovation strategy.”
In March, GTT reported record revenues of €288.2M (US$322M) for 2019.
