K Line, Great Eastern deploy digital platforms

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) and Great Eastern Shipping have both invested in Veson Nautical’s IMOS platform to manage fleet operations, contracts and fuel consumption to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

For K Line, IMOS integrates several functions enabling it to manage charter contracts, fuel use and accounting in one platform, standardising and unifying work processes. 

For Great Eastern, IMOS integrates with existing technology the shipping group already uses while providing valuable business insights. IMOS provides access to clean, contextualised data in real time, enabling Great Eastern to respond to dynamic market conditions.

In addition, Great Eastern and Veson jointly developed a custom accounting interface with the Indian government’s invoicing portal, improving regulatory compliance and integration with financial operations.

By providing access to clean, contextualised data in real time, the IMOS Platform "empowers commercial teams to respond to dynamic market conditions with greater clarity, agility, and confidence," according to Veson.
