Six new award categories will feature at the Marine Propulsion Awards 2019 which takes place at the conclusion of day one of Riviera Maritime Media’s European Sulphur Cap 2020 Conference 8 May in Amsterdam.
The industry is now invited to nominate its marine engineering team of the year as well as examples of excellence and innovation in condition monitoring, intelligent maintenance and autonomous and remote operations.
There is also the opportunity to nominate products and services that set new benchmarks when it comes to alternative fuels and hybrid propulsion.
The Marine Propulsion Awards 2019 will also recognise products, processes and systems that have advanced efficiency, emissions, engine design and vessel performance through vessel design. An outstanding graduate research project will also be recognised.
A judging panel consisting of some of the industry’s foremost experts will consider the nominations and produce a shortlist of three or four per category. These will be listed on the European Sulphur Cap 2020 Conference website for public voting. The winners in each category will be announced at the conference’s dinner.
Once again Riviera will recognise one individual for lifetime achievement in the sector. The winner will be selected by the Riviera editorial team.
