Northern Offshore Services (N-O-S) has been awarded contracts to provide Ørsted with multiple vessels
N-O-S will provide crew transfer vessel (CTV) support to Ørsted’s UK West Coast Hub, providing seven CTVs over the next three years.
The first vessels will start work early in 2021 and will be accompanied by more vessels through the first and second quarters of the year.
The N-O-S CTVs will operate on the Walney, Walney Extension, West of Duddon Sands, Barrow, Burbo Bank and Burbo Bank Extension offshore windfarms, using Ørsted’s Barrow and Liverpool operations sites as base ports.
N-O-S chief commercial officer Fredrik Hallqvist said, “We are pleased to have been selected for these contracts. The awards are based on many years of co-operation between N-O-S and Ørsted. This long-term agreement will further strengthen our position and commitment in the UK market.”
