Corsica Linea has launched an onboard streaming entertainment solution on its fleet
After a trial, the French ferry operator has deployed Moment’s technology across its fleet to add value to customers’ journeys and increase satisfaction levels. The new service was implemented last October, providing a digital platform to passengers accessible from their own mobile devices on its Mediterranean routes.
Passengers can access a variety of content by connecting to the dedicated ship’s server with their personal devices. A statement explains that the platform can also boost onboard sales thanks to its shopping functionality employing a digital catalogue.
Moment has tailored the platform to meet the expectations of all travellers, offering recent Hollywood blockbuster films, while the younger passengers have a dedicated ’Kids’ space in the platform where they can play games or watch films.
“…This partnership with Moment brings our service to a new level and is in line with our customer-oriented strategy,” said Corsica Linea marketing and sales director Pierre Mainguy.
“This is a great opportunity for Moment and proves that our out-of-home entertainment platform can seamlessly be adapted to a maritime environment. Our entertainment solution for passengers on cruise ships and ferries ensures an onboard fluid and unprecedented digital experience,” said Moment chef executive Tanguy Morel.
Corsica Linea has seven ships operating in the Mediterranean Sea and carries 650,000 passengers every year.
