A UK-headquartered company has upgraded its vessel and fleet monitoring system to offer owners greater insight into engine condition and fuel use
Tug, offshore support vessel and workboat operators will be able to visualise fuel consumption and engine performance more effectively using a new vessel monitoring display.
An upgraded front-end dashboard will display operational information from vessel equipment enabling owners to reduce emissions and improve vessel efficiency. This will be available later this month for users of AST Networks’ subsidiary AST Reygar’s BareFleet vessel monitoring system.
Information displayed covers fuel consumption, operational efficiency, engine alerts and overall vessel performance, with additional insights for fleet management, lowering operational costs and environmental impact.
“With this new dashboard, we are making information more accessible and actionable for operators, supporting their drive towards greener, more efficient operations,” said AST Reygar general manager Daniel Clark.
Trials of the dashboard were conducted in December 2024 and the company expects an official launch this month.
