OneLearn Global, a division of One Net, which is part of Cyprus-headquartered Fameline Holding Group, has introduced a personalised approach to interactive e-learning
This learning management system (LMS) for the maritime, energy, hospitality and industrial sectors will “optimise the learner experience and drive engagement through certification and award badges for positive encouragement and reward,” the company said. Seafarers can study relevant courses prior to embarking on to a vessel or as pre-joining training prior to employment.
OneLearn Global senior advisor Nigel Cleave said the LMS provides quality content and enables audit compliance. “Our LMS delivers modern future-ready learning experiences, enterprise-wide training capabilities and dashboards with all the information our customers require,” said Mr Cleave.
“Our courses have been specifically designed to be highly effective, thus ensuring a high absorption rate resulting from authentic interactivity and smart content.”
Each user will have content access to the OneLearn Global LMS with no limitations during the subscription period.
Shipping companies can use this LMS to deliver personalised learning experiences to their employees. OneLearn Global is increasing the number of courses in its library to help reduce skill gaps in maritime. Course modules can be repeated as often as required for training and competence improvements.
“The administrator-controlled application for recommended training informs users directly on the home page with regard to learning programmes that match their qualifications and the client’s specific training requirements,” explained Mr Cleave.
OneLearn Global’s LMS has application programming interfaces (APIs) enabling shipping companies to integrate the LMS into their own platforms.
In Greece, SQLearn has formed a partnership to create new online training programs, joining forces with Moore Greece to produce these programs through synchronous and asynchronous educational platforms.
These will cover a wide range of subjects related to administration, financial management and regulatory compliance of shipping companies.
This partnership combines SQLearn’s e-learning in the shipping industry with Moore’s expertise in the fields of accounting, financial reporting, corporate governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
