Chinese company PACT Marine has won the fourth order to install a containerised ballast water treatment facility in a Chinese port
An unnamed Chinese port in Jiangsu Province has awarded Euro Tech Holdings Company Limited’s division PACT Marine a US$0.8M contract to install a containerised ballast water treatment reception facility.
This is the fourth contract PACT Marine has won to install a containerised ballast water treatment reception facility in a Chinese port.
PACT Marine is a multinational engineering company specialising in custom design, manufacturing, contracting, wastewater treatment and water desalination.
In March 2021, PACT Marine won the bid for a port ballast water reception ’turnkey’ project (HarborBallast 500) at the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port Ore Terminal. The scope of services includes design, supply, installation, commissioning and training. It is expected the equipment delivery will be in June 2021.
In January 2021, PACT Marine was awarded the revised IMO G8 certification (MEPC.300(72) resolution) by the China Classification Society.
In December 2020, PACT Marine completed and delivered a 1,000 m3 per hour system to the Shanghai Yangshan harbour end-user, SIPG Group.
Despite the name, the PACT Marine parent company, Euro Tech Holdings Company Limited, is a Hong Kong-based company with an engineering base in Shanghai, China.
